Hi! Welcome to my blog! I started this blog to tell you about my sewing adventures. I started sewing when I was about 16. I got a second hand sewing machine for my birthday, which I've used until recently. My grandmother taught me about the basics. Until about two years ago, I only sewed every now and then, not really following any rules. This changed when a concurrence of circumstances (read about it here and here) made me decide to stop buying clothes at all, and make everything myself from that moment on. The challenge was to do this for a year, but a year turned int two years. At this point most of my wardrobe is handmade, apart from the occasional thrift store find. Ofcourse it's much more fun sharing all this with other people!
Recently I've ventured into the domain of pattern making. I started following a class in september 2012, and discovered I love it just as much as sewing.
